Buckslayer
I was satisfied by watching the Oath and Speech today. I have to go grocery shopping this evening. To be quite honest I think I would go if I were invited. I mean, I'm an educated young professional and wouldn't mind conversing with... wait, yeah I would. I do wish Obama the best though. fly
Me! Are you kidding? We finally get rid of that bum Bush and you guys aren't pumped? What's up with that? I mean, I was getting used to high gas prices, a terrible economy, a botched war for no apparent reason, oh and hearing words pronounced incorrectly but 8 years was enough. Don't you agree? I think a highly educated, well-spoken man might be a nice chance of pace. O'Bama...Yo'Momma!!!!!!!!! btw- Party at Muggs Muggsbow's place. You're all invited!!! What time Muggs? I'll party with ya. I might be the only one there though.

stevebeilgard
i've seen enough already. i plan to let him go to work and see what he does. i'm full of hope, and equally full of doubts. but answer this, muggs. if he does poorly, can i call him the same names bush was called by the media, or would that be "out of line"? personally, i think the dishing of the office is terrible, no matter who is in. and gas prices??? i paid $1.31 today. but let's assume $2.70 for an average the past 8 years, and $4.00 for a high. write that down, and get back with us in 3 years. i predict $6.50 MINIMUM. barak predicted $12.00 6 months ago. we'll see what it's like soon. Steven
Today I came up with the perfect GOP campaign slogan to be used in 2012- "Seriously, what did you expect?"
TreeStandBowHunter
You know I aint know Obama fan at the least and I sure didn't vote for the guy but how about giving him a chance in the White House. I mean this guy hasn't even been sworn in for 24 hrs yet and you guys are already slamming him. Remember, the American people (maybe not "you", but America) voted him in office. Jeeze, imagine if all of America thought like this:(. It's no wonder...give the guy a chance to screw up first. I get a laugh out of everyone buying guns too like he is going to take them away tomorrow or at anytime, lol...amazing:rolleyes:

So many people forget that Steve. We will see. I agree give the man a chance, whether we like it or not we do need for him to do a good job. jm23494
We are missing the biggest point of why none of us were invited: We have all worked for what we have and are not looking for handouts so we can sit and do nothing, we are all not shouting how the oppression of the black man has ended........should I go on?!?! Like Steve said, I'm trying to be optimistic but I still have serious doubts.

PotashRLS
I get a laugh out of everyone buying guns too like he is going to take them away tomorrow or at anytime, lol...amazing:rolleyes: With all due respect I can't agree with your statement. Millions of gun owners are concerned and with good reason. And if nothing else, its our way of stimulating the economy:D

oldksnarc
I wasn't invited (go figure). Besides, I'm waiting by the mail box for my stimulus check. Got to buy another gun and more ammo. Edited January 22, 2009 by oldksnarc
