VABuckSlayer
Saw this on Yahoo. He had a good career. Do you think he will make the HOF? I think he has a good shot at it. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news;_ylt=AuW6IfUzJoJ3ze2ITgUwapg5nYcB?slug=ap-kentretires&prov=ap&type=lgns
toddyboman
i would say probably.......Mainly because everyone gets in.....or so it seems. But considering the power numbers he had for a 2nd baseman....I say yep he will get in.
MCH
Jeff Kent is a shoe-in for the Hall. His home-run totals alone will insure that he gets in....maybe not on the first ballot, but he could. Edited January 21, 2009 by MCH

Yeah, this was a discussion on here a while ago...much to my surprise, he's got really really good 2nd baseman numbers. He'll get in. rhine16
He'll get in without a doubt.... Waaay to many hrs as a second baseman not to be in the hall.
deerslayer06
i agree with you all that Kent will be in the Hall. I also agree with Jeff that it was time to hang it up...the game was passing him bye.
craig mack
He should be in the Hall.
unioncountyslayer
I think he gets in. A lot of people/players didn't like him, but I did. He played the game like it should be, i.e. hard nosed and old school. Too bad his retirement was overshadowed today by more McGwire allegations.
