jdickey
I'm planning to make a hunt in 2006 and need all the info I can get about hunting in New Foundland. Do I have to hunt with a licensed guide, what are the other regs and requirements such as Hunter Safety Classes, what about exporting meat & antlers. I'll be flying into St. John's from Texas! Thanks!
Guest MarylandQDMA
Re: NEW FOUNDLAND WOODLAND CARIBOU HUNT just saw your post under my caribou story. seeing how you are goign to be in a different provance then I was in, I am not sure about the licens. but you will have to get a form here fill it out but DO NOT sign it. here is canadas firearms webpage here . this has all the info you need about transporting guns over the border. bows are not included. there is also a 50.00 fee pay with credit card and it will only cost 30 some bucks. your best bet is to concact a guide in the area you plan to hunt and have them send you the areas hunting regs.
