hey guys and gals, i wanna get into predator hunting. i have a couple 22 LR and 22 magnums that i can use and i also have a 243 which shoots geat so i believe i am good on the guns. i only have one call, the tally ho. its a tiny little call but it sounds really good. i can blow it pretty good. what do u all think of this call. i am in an area where there's not an infestation of yotes and oxes but i believe enough to find a few to shoot. i'll descibe where i live a little. i live on a cotton farm. there is a flat field in front of my house with a fox pen behind it. the field is probably 350 yards+or - a little bit. behind my house, is another cotton field. its about 350 yds to the back of it too. probably 100 yards from my house to the let, is a hedgerow which two foxes were killed coming out of last year. also behind my house is a pond thats out in the middle of the field. Any ideas on where to set up and such and what exactly i should wear, how often to call, how loud to call, and anything else i need to know? thanks in advance

And stick with the .243.... you'll need it to bring down dogs at long range, they're tougher than they look. I shot one years ago trotting at about 175 yards and picked up pieces of brisket and bone for 100 yards. I later saw the coyote bow hunting next season missing a front leg, and saw her once more in gun season. A .22 mag is a bit light for anything but a close head shot IMHO
