Excellent tasting salad! .....poor Orlan......... .....his salad is getting hijacked ..... -I think this salad sounds real good, Orlan...-I will try to make it this week, and let you know how it went over with the "troops" here at home....(even though I really love cabbage, and will miss it in this recipie- I'm sure it's really good, even without it!)- ps....-what is "coleslaw mix"??....can it be found in every store? redkneck
ps....-what is "coleslaw mix"??....can it be found in every store? Yeah, it's basically the mayo, pickle relish, onion mixture you just spoon into shredded cabbage. Not nearly as good as homemade.

OJR
aksheephuntress said: -what is "coleslaw mix"??....can it be found in every store? It is a prepared mixture of cabbage, carrots, and other veggies all cut up and ready to be put in a salad. You don't have to do any cutting of the veggies. I bought this at a supermarket in town. All the stores have it!

I took some of it into physical therapy today and all the people there really liked it! I wouldn't add any sugar to it! Wow that must have been sweet!
