ruttinbuc
A trip to the reservoir found the ducks on the ice and the snow geese on the open water. An evening ride found the snow's in the fields close to my home..... The Eagles are not up to harassing them today Their song is most deafening as... the blur of motion clouds the view Edited January 26, 2009 by ruttinbuc
Shaun_300
Wow! That's a whole lotta snow geese Mike! We hardly see any of those up here, lots of Canada's but they're all gone south now for the winter. On occasion you'll see a couple snows in a flock of Canada's in a field or in the water. ruttinbuc
Sure is a lot of geese. I was up there deer hunting to the left beyond the reservoir the other night. Right after sunset I could hear honking a long way off. In a matter of a minute they were flying in right over me. This lasted for five minutes. Wave after wave. I don't know if they were the same birds who were out feeding or new arrivals. The noise was incredible. That sure is a whole lot of geese Mike. We only get the odd flock on the island here. Pretty nice. Nice slide show. Thanks Steve, Those birds were a long way out there. I was a little surprised I got those images. A little blurry, but you can tell what they are. I need to invest and upgrade some.
