SuperMn106
Has anyone ever been to one of these? My girlfriend would like to go to one of these and asked me what all it involves. I have never been to one so I was just wondering if anyone has been and what their experiences has been. Thanks:)

Jorden
I never have been but up here it is a pretty big deal. I dont know what it is like elsewhere but up here you could be on the waiting list for years before you can get tickets. And from what I understand once you get off the list and get your tickets, you have to go every year or you lose your tickets...thats what happened to us anyway:rolleyes:
Ravin R10 man
I used to help sponsor them as a business ...I guess if you like to spend alot of money for a gun you really dont want..go for it. (raffles, silent auction etc.) No thanks..I'll just go buy the gun I really want, and not give 2/3 of the money to WU. I know guys who spend 2k easily
toddyboman
Yup I am co-chairmen of our local WU chapter. You pay a price to get in the door. Which includes a meal and a membership to their organization. That membership gets you a magazine. Once in the door there is many many different games, raffles, silent auction and a live auction to participate in. Its a good way to win a gun or some other hunting gear. Its a really good time, and I would recommend you going! If you want some more details let me know

Yes WU gets there cut too....but we spend a lot of money on helping youth, women, handicap and elderly into the outdoors. Remember the event is a fund raiser and not a win a gun event;) But you can win a gun and that's always fun;)
