PotashRLS Posted January 29, 2009 Report Share Posted January 29, 2009 This morning was the first in a while that it wasn't below 0. Highs are consistantly in the low teens or below. We are stuck in quite a rut right now. We have had no January thaw since we can't even hit the mid 20s. Haven't seen deer in the fields for over a month because the food is so far covered, they only dig a little at night. This winter looks to be about 4 months of lockdown. The temperature isn't too bad! 21 degrees right now, highs are gonna be at the freezing mark sunday, 34 for monday and tuesday. Wednesday is back down to a high of 1 though. Gore should be spanked!! Atleast it is above 0 though:) I tried to build an igloo last night with snow form the snow blower......yah it caved in on me:eek: Cold!! Don't know...i saw it on a fishing site i visit. There's a little bit of snow, but it should melt soon and it's going to be up in the 30s and 40s tomorrow. I'm think about sighting in my turkey gun if it's going to be that nice.
