RangerClay
Whew! I am beat. If you remember a while back I asked you for pictures of your man caves. Well, construction has begun. I just spent the morning making and sanding moulding. I am dusty and tired. I'm about to head for the shower but before I do, I wanted to ask you a question that I thought of while sanding. This room is going to be our TV room/game room/man cave. The Mrs. has given me the green light to decorate it anyway I want. So let me ask you, besides a deer mount (that is the first thing going in there), what are the top the things that need to be in a man cave? Muff
1.A nice big comfy chair to call yours 2.A beer fridge...in your case Joe wine fridge 3.This is going to sound weird but….a atlas….why because my geography is not the greatest and when the girls and I see something on TV and they ask me “where is that Daddy?” I can show them….just something we do
stevebeilgard
an elk mount. some sheep mounts. a mountain goat mount. a moose head. a caribou head. a bear skin rug. a russian boar head. a mule deer mount. we'll see if your wife was speaking true when she said you could decorate it any way you want. a good t.v., a comfortable chair/sofa, and an atmosphere that yells out "welcome home" every time you enter it. Dakota
I'd have to agree with Steve when he says an elk mount; that's the first thing going in mine when I get my own house. I'd say a nice fridge where you can store pop, beer and bait. A nice big comfy Realtree Camo recliner and a gun cabinet or fishing rod rack. fly
It's gotta have a comfortable chair and a computer so you can post on the RT forums in comfort! I've also got a plaque with deer teeth on it for aging (unique and screams a man has decorated this room). Gotta have appropriate lighting as well. Can't be too bright, it is a cave after all. I agree...........however, it will probably be the woman's cave initially cause you'll never be there, you'll be off out of state decorating the walls. How bout a 3d deer target in one corner and your bow in the other corner so you can practice:) How big is the room? Just don't put the target by the TV;)
