Reason #143 to.....

get a Hunter safety System vest.

I had about 2 foot of snow slide off the garage roof. In its wake it broke my TV antenna wire. Now I cannot view most of my basic channels including NBC:eek:. Well I'm not about to miss my first Super Bowl so I have to go up on the roof. A very wet and snowy METAL roof. I know you southerners may not get this but a metal roof in the winter is like climbing up a greased roof. To say the least I was very worried about falling. So I throw a rope over the house. I tie off one end to the front porch and the other to my HSS vest. The vest really gave me peace of mind before I started up the slope. I got the cable fixed without slipping and now I'm settling down to some snacks. I thought I would share my little adventure with you all. Oh! and by the way, thanks again Chris!;)

In typical O'bama fashion, you are taking my words out of context.:D

I have not missed a super bowl in 40+ years and I'm not about to miss my first.

Geez, what is this, a spanish inquisition....?

Nobody expects the spanish inquisition! :D:D:D:D

And in the true spirit of the Liberal Democrats, you are blaming a mishap that was caused by your failure to clarify, on someone else!!!:D;)

Calm down Joe, I'm just pickin on ya!!

¿Dónde usted ha sido todos estos años Joe?

LOL...Feel better now Joe:D

Good idea and yes I know what your talking about. The neighbor has a metal roof and the snow likes to drop right off of it. I can imagine trying to climb it and not slipping!
