bluelund79
The title says it all. What questions should I be asking a gunsmith in the task at hand? I am looking to have the creep taken out of my Mossberg 4x4 in 300 Win Mag. Not looking for a tiny amount of trigger pull, just a good, crisp 3-4 lbs would be perfect. The second is my 10-22 that needs some lbs trimmed off of its pull as well. The closest competent smith is about 2 hrs away from me, so knowing some questions ahead of time will reduce some of the windshield time. Thanks in advance, Eric
toddyboman
Might ask to feel some of his/her trigger work....... You could buy an aftermarket trigger for your 10/22 here: http://www.timneytriggers.com/index.cfm
bluelund79
Thanks Todd, Seen them before, just the idea of spending as much on a trigger as what the rifle is worth...Besides, that would tap into the reloading kit fund....
