Bow Hunter Derek
Re: range finder for bow Yep. Cabela's Archery catalog, page 67. $199.99. My neighbor has one and swears by it. He used it when he shot a 325" bull elk in New Mexico two years ago. He said he just pushed the button at full draw and it said the bull was at 18 yards, so he let the arrow fly. I'll stick with my Bushnell Scout range finder. I don't need another gadget on my bow.

oo_buck
Re: range finder for bow [ QUOTE ] It's just another gadget that is interesting but not practical. Just buy a hand held range finder and use it for more than bowhunting. JMO [/ QUOTE ] Ditto It is a pretty cool idea though....

thebig1
Re: range finder for bow i know a guy that has one of those and he loves it. i asked about it being so heavy and like he said. you're only going to be holding your bow up to shoot for a short period of time and coupled with the adrenaline running through your veins it really has no effect. he said it was better than grabbing one from your neck, putting it down, pulling up and then the deer moves. with the one on his bow he always knows. theres a button that goes on your grip to push and shoot the laser. VTbowman
Re: range finder for bow I would be all over that if it were not so bulky. I am sure someone will offer one thats smaller and hopefully more compact. Truthfully the only reason I got a range finder is for bow while doing spot-n-stocks or ground hunting. It would be nice to have something like that at a fingers touch at full draw. Things can change quickly at full draw... JMO
