Rem308
I had been looking at single shot rifles for quite a while and, after much consideration, I ended up buying this NEF Survivor 223 and I'm very pleased with it. I topped it with a Tasco 6x24x42 Target scope w/Mil-Dot Reticle. This scope it my budget and I won't lie, I think that Mil-Dot is cool. I am going to hit the range this weekend, I'll be sure to take my camera along and have a range report to share.

Tink
Great Piece i got my 2 great Grand daughters 2 One didn't fire whatsoever in .243 had to take it back take 3 boxes of ammo to range let Bbl cool between shots A Tall Bucket of water will help cool off barrells heat will dry it no rust Oil at end of day Fire groups of 3 at 3 different target I would suggest Federal Premium and Horanady Ammo beside Remington she used her .243Win with 90 grain Sirocco Swift bullets to drop 3 deer inside 6 feet at 77 yards 8 point buck raised up and fellbackwards into tank of water. You will find the rifle will like one brand of ammo better Take good notes cool Bbl between rounds Clean after first 9 rounds and repeat its important you shoot the same ammo at the same targets get on paper about 25 yards, then shoot at 100 yards. let Bbl cool Good Luck Tink
Dakota
NEF makes some great rifles, I used one in .243 to shoot my first whitetail and my Dad now uses it as I've moved up to the .30-06. Here's a pic of it with my dad and a successful harvest, his first big game animal ever. Dakota

Rem308
Yeah, I can't wait to hit the range and start sighting it in. We had several inches of fresh now fall last night, so I am really looking forward to getting out in it and shooting a little. Thanks for the compliments.
