Guest DeerHunterForLife
I just purchases some of the new quick spin shrink fletck arrow fletchings and I would like to know if any of you other hunters out there have had any luck with them. The only problem that i have experienced with them is that they crack very easily. Has anyone else experienced this problem?? That is the only thing that i have found to be wrong with them but I do like them though.
Squirrelhunter91
Yep. That's the exact problem I had with those things. I just went back to a wrap, a tube of glue and vanes after that. I'll never buy Shrink Fletch again after that.
MUDRUNNER
I have never had one crack.I do use aluminum arrows though,I don't know if that makes a difference or not.Mine are the 4" Duravanes. They seemed to work great out of my whisker biscuit.I did have one that a fletching ripped off after about 4 shots, but other than that no problems.I actually use my coffe pot to heat the water.I wonder if your water may be too hot. hoythunter37
I have a buddy of mine that uses those. As far as I know he has had great luck with them. It seems like that is all he uses anymore. I havent heard of any problems from him about them. Doesnt mean that there isnt tho.
