bulldawg Posted February 8, 2009 Report Share Posted February 8, 2009 The cold weather has kept me in most of this year so far. It was warm today, and windy, but the fish bit pretty good. Got a nice mess of good keeper gills, and I caught a 12 pound northern on my tip-up. Not a bad day. Tomorrow isn't supposed to be quite as warm, but I'll be out again. Ravin R10 man Posted February 8, 2009 Report Share Posted February 8, 2009 Craig..only been out twice..first trip we pulled up a 9# northern and a bunch of 4 to 5 # ones and smaller.. went out again all day Sat. we were in a fishing contest and were going for biggest northern class and the over 10# class...we pulled up a 12# northern!! it was worth $700...LOL we had a 7 year old with us..and let him pull it up...first time ice fishing and first fish he ever landed!! littleben Posted February 16, 2009 Report Share Posted February 16, 2009 its been a pretty good year for me. seems like everytime i go i at least get a few eater crappie or walleye out of the flowage. we just took a weekend trip to little bay de noc MI. fishing wasn't great but we still had a blast grillin out on the ice and gettin to fish new waters. we did manage to pull out a few nice walleye. i'll post some pics when i can.
