PAhunter14
Its now become public that A-rod tested positive for roids in 2003, a year in witch he also led the league in HRs, and won MVP. Very disapointing stuff right there.
The_Kat
When is everyone going to figure out that any baseball player who was worth a dang during those years was on roids? This is no shocker to me. This isn't the last of the players getting nailed with being on roids. More big names will join their ranks. craig mack
AAAAAAA-ROOOOOOIIIIIIIIDDDDDDSSSSSSS I'm sure that will be a popular chant at all Yankee away games.

VABuckSlayer
You don't get as huge as A-Rod without a little help. I've always suspected it with him and now it's proven! I like his nickname A-Fraud now. He's earned it!
DSGB
Just wait, chipper will show up too. I doubt it, but you never know. Everyone else was doing it! I'd be willing to bet Andruw Jones did it before Chipper.
toddyboman
“I did take a banned substance. For that I’m very sorry and deeply regretful,” he said. http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/29068677/ At least he admitted...

colts1888
He is sorry that he got caught, thats about it. At least he is smart enough to learn from the ones before him though that it is better to just admit it from the start instead of denying it. Texan_Til_I_Die
Just heard that Miguel Tejada has been charged with lying to congress in the steroids investigation.
wtnhunt
No great surprise there. Least after he was found out he fessed up rather than trying to lie or cover it up.
unioncountyslayer
I lost all respect for Alex after the infedelity on his part years back. I despise cheaters. This only compounds my dislike for him. And it's a double edged sword as far as the "confession". I agree that I'm glad he did it, but how truthful was he really? I guess we'll never know. But if he felt pressure to perform in Texas, I'm willing to bet that pressure was at least double when coming to New York. I know he's selling that he used in Texas only, but I'm not buying. SuperMn106
I am glad that he admitted. I do believe that he is telling the truth. He has had 8-10 tests since then and has not failed one yet.
PAhunter14
Just heard that Miguel Tejada has been charged with lying to congress in the steroids investigation. From what I understand he lied to a federal agent not a judge or anything. So he didnt lie while he was under oath, so he wont get in trouble like Bonds. Im glad A-rod confessed it makes baseball look better. I dont know weather to beleive him or not but im glad he confessed.
slippery77
They should all have the asteric by their name in the record books. Forget the * they shouldn't be allowed in the record books or the Hall of Fame. They don't deserve to be classified with Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, Cal Ripken Jr. or the like. Take any achievments away from them and ban them from the Hall and maybe then other players will take notice. If not then its justifying the usage because they will still be getting credit for "juiced" achievments. All time home run leader...........Hank Aaron!!!
