nativetexan Posted February 8, 2009 Report Share Posted February 8, 2009 I live right down the street from a shooting preserve and am constantly hearing the sweet sounds of shotgun fire in the distance. The weather is beautiful here this morning and I have been on my porch with my coffee since I got up listening to bird hunting in the background and perusing realtree.com. I've exterminated 17 opossums last year, and about 13 this year in our carport at the cat food dish with my pistol. I got woken up by that one time too. Grandfather had been after an armadillo for a while that was digging up his yard. I woke to the blast and all I heard was the most evil of laughs and a "GOTCHA!"
