There are a few hot dog joints down here run by Yankees, and they all refer to them as Coney's. But other than those select few places, it's simply refered to as a "dog" around here. The "White hots" around here are called "Coneys"....Hoffman Coneys(my wife likes them and the smell of them make me gag) The regular ones are called "Hotdogs" around here most of the time with the occasional term of "Tubular Mystery Meat".
