The_Kat
Well I finally got Tim's Hoyt safely in Oklahoma. I had to try it out just to see how she shot, and lemme tell ya I was impressed! My first 4 arrows were in a one ince group at 20 yards. They were high and right, but they were consistent. I'm happy to say that now it is shooting accurately in the black ring. Too be honest, I shot better with this Hoyt than I have ever shot any bow and i've only had it one evening. I'll try to post some more pics with the updated groups, and some of the bow tomorrow. Heres my first four arrows....I was so impressed i had to take a pic! hoythunter37
O good deal. Sounds like a pretty nice bow. I have an ultratec and want to upgrade to something a little newer. But I cant complain this bow has been great to me for the past 5 years or so.

goodnottygy
Well Kat... it happens to the best of us. My son and I both bought a Hoyt Vectrix and instantly saw our groups instantly tighten dramatically. I am afraid to shoot the Alpha-Max, afraid I would want to buy one! Congrats on a nice group and a nice bow.

hutchies
All about the shooter not the bow. lol Your right and if you have seen very many of my posts in this room you would already know I don't care what anyone shoots. I've owned Hoyt, Mathews, Browning, PSE, Golden eagle, and a few others.

Casey
Your right and if you have seen very many of my posts in this room you would already know I don't care what anyone shoots. I've owned Hoyt, Mathews, Browning, PSE, Golden eagle, and a few others. I'm just saying that about any bow. I just think Mathews on advertising, gives more credit to the bow than to the shooters that are winning the competitions, but I am sure every bow company does that. All those trophys and checks won are done by the shooter. Seems like they never say that in the magazines.... Kat, thats a nice looking bow in that thread you put up there. Welcome to the hoyt underground.
