Buddy, I'm right next door to you, and i'll say from experience those things are hard to get. I've heard them circle in behind me at night, getting downwind, and then taking off. I've had way better odds with fox at night than yotes. I will freely admit i am no expert, and i hardly ever go anymore, but i had more setups with no dogs than with dogs coming in. One thing down here, is the visibility. Sure you have some clearcuts from time to time, but not some of the tremendous ranges like other parts of the county. Most of the time your in close range, and that puts the odds in their favor. Maybe we'll both get some good advice in this thread. One thing i've learned, always keep a mouth call handy during any season. You never know when your out there and see or hear one and can take advantage of the situation.
