toddyboman
I think I am wanting a new cell phone.....a Blackberry or similar type of cellphone. Anyone have any good or bad input on this type of phone? Or a good place to buy one? Not sure if it matters or not but I currently have a sprint plan. Thanks:)

Dawg
I have a Blackberry Pearl as a company phone. This is my second one since August of 08. If it wasn't on a company plan, I would get a different type of phone. This one will stop receiving text messages at times and cut off by itself. My first one quit receiving any type of messages- text, mms and email. As far as a phone to talk on, it's great. It gets good service and has good sound, but as I said if I could get a different type I would.
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
There was a guy on here a little bit ago who had all kinds of cell phones...should have bought one before he got booted. LOL :D:D I like the blackberrys, and haven't heard to many bad things about them. I don't have one but I have messed around with some of the ones my friends have. I like the pearl and the curve that sprint has. I personally prefer the full QWERTY keypad, which is what the curve has. We currently have sprint as well, and I have thought hard about getting a blackberry curve or the samsung instinct, but instead I think we are going to switch to AT&T when our contracts are up
preacherman
I have a Blackberry Curve and haven't had any trouble out of it. I have been thinking about going with a Motorola Tundra or a Samsung rubgy. These are supposed to be the toughest phones on the market. But as far as the Blackberry, haven't had a minutes trouble out of mine.

Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Yeah I tried to track him down but couldn't for some reason find his name:rolleyes::D Wait a week, someone will be here selling them. Seirously though, when you narrow your search down, check youtube. Type in what ever phone/blackberry you are looking for and type in "unboxing" or "review" after the name, lots of good video reviews out there that will show you exactly what you get and little reviews on them. The_Kat
blackberry curve is a good phone, but VERY fragile. i had to replace two of them so far.
Steven
I have a Blackberry Pearl and it's tougher than I expected. I have dropped it several times on construction sites and, aside from a couple of scratches on the screen, have had no problems. It runs through the battery pretty quick if you use it as an MP3 player though.
