doubleA
I sent one of my M22's back to Cooper to have it re-stocked with a Phoenix synthetic. I've been dinging up the pretty wood on the 25-06 and decided to switch to something that takes riding around in jeeps, rangers etc a bit better. It took about 2 weeks which I thought was a good turn around. I was able to shoot it today and it shoots just like a Cooper should. These were 3 different loads, I dont know what happened to the far upper right I shot the one below it with the same load afterwards. With the big group included (1.25 inches) the over all average came in at .48 inches. If I threw that one out the average of the others would have been .28 Not bad for a factory rifle. The target.... Here's a better pic of the new stock....
bluelund79
Great looking rifle and great groups. Really like the 25.06 round, got to try it out on a deer this year with great results. My groups aren't as great as yours, but that'll come with time!

Strut10
doubleA .................. Might I be nosey??? What are your bullet and powder of choice for your 25-Oh?? I'm probably going to start with some 100 gr. SMK's and either R-22 or IMR-4831. Wondered what combo was treating you so well??
Shaun_300
Looks like it's performing great for you AA! The .25-06 sure is an awesome cartridge, I love mine. I'd like to get a little trigger work to mine to get the trigger a little crisper, but other than that it shoots great! Rem308
That's a great looking rifle, and it shoots too! Good groups!
Adjam5
Sweet looking rifle there Charlie. Not a bad looking beater gun for sure. Synthetic stocks for working guns are the way to go. Yeah...I'd say you need to tighten your groups a bit:rolleyes:. I have a new found love for the 25-06. I shot my 1st Texas deer with one:). Happy hunting! doubleA
Thanks everyone, look closely at the bolt and the scope caps and you will see the "silver" showing. Those were shot with Alliant Reloder 25 and Sierra 120 gr HPBT doing between 3050 and 3120fps.
