Guys, question for you. Could you ACTUALLY allow someone into this club that doesn't even know what the true meaning of the "dark side" is? About a week ago I get a text from Kyle saying he was going to the "dark side". Now anyone that knows Kyle KNOWS he has been shooting a Mathews for the last 3-4yrs, if not longer. AND he just bout that Outback before he bought his Hoyt. Well, I talked to him that night, and, come to find out, he was talking about his HOYT!!!!!! He truly thought that if you shot a Hoyt, you were a member of the Greatest Underground Archery Club around, the "DARK SIDE"!!!!!! WTH?????? LOL!!!!!

Chris, do you think this fits the requirements for having his man card revoked?

Darkside..........Underground............?????:confused::confused:

Hoyt's history is much longer and tradition based than you are letting on. Mathews is very new to the scene and has a less than "upstanding" history in regards to business ventures.

I actually met Mrs. Hoyt on the Honeymoon hunt my wife and I took in Oct. of 2002 at Heartland Lodge in Pike Co. IL. She was part of a group of gals that hunts the country, much of which is for name sake. Very cool though.

Flinty I think you need to look at the NFAA, ASA, IBO............all are mixed as to who shoots what. It's more about the shooter than the bow.

Is Hoyt even owned by Hoyt anymore? I thought they sold it many years ago................anyway I don't know what business ventures your talking about but I do know that Matt does alot for the sport........I would venture to say more than any other company. Check out NASP(National Archery in the Schools Program) and see how much Mathews donates...........Mathews no longer attends the ATA instead they donate the $100,000 to NASP.

The World Archery Festival in Vegas, which attracts the cream of the crop from all over the world, just wrapped up a week or so ago. For the umpteenth time in a row, Hoyt takes it.:D:D:D

And Luke - you haven't joined yet????:confused::mad:;)
