Re: NY Round Up, \"william tell squirrels\"

Wow this is going to be fun. The trash talking is talking already. Bring some good ideas for the shoots and we will put each other to the test. You guys had better bring some extra arrows cause the Outback is back in service and flinging far and fast. Hope you all can keep up. grin.gif

Dan, Are you all set with directions? If not let me know and we can set you up before you loose your computer.

As I stated earlier, I am taking off about noon on the 1st. If anyone wants to come up early let me know. Probably should let me know what your expected time of arrival is so we can look out for you or send a search party if needed.

Re: NY Round Up, \"william tell squirrels\"

Dave, Stop being so modest...remember I've seen you shoot!!!

I was thinking about the directions...maybe an idea of somewhere to meet in a nearby town if a person gets lost...they could go there and we would know where to look for them(a commonly known gas station chain or something like that possibly).

Also a contact phone number for those who are lost so they can call out the search dogs....LOL

Re: NY Round Up, \"william tell squirrels\"

Gary sounds good. If everyone one will let me know what tme that plan on arriving I will resend out the email with those times and also include my cell phone number. We have spotty service up to camp but I usually can pick it up in a couple spots. I plan on making up a couple signs, one where you turn onto the North Road or RT 119 and one where you turn off the North Road or onto Kelly RD. Something like Realtree NY Gathering !!!! The best spot to hook up would be in the town of Lassellville. It is not very big, If you blink you will be through it. There is a store called Whitey's there. It is a big blue pole barn type building I think. Tha should be a good place. It is right on RT 29.

Re: NY Round Up, weather report

Well, now we are 7 days away from the Round Up, and I'm looking at the extended forcast.

Looks like ^&^%$& for Saturday. Let's hope that rain arrives late - like late Sunday!

On the other hand, could mean good huntin on Friday PM with a front coming, stand adjusting on Saturday (mostly sitt'n round doin nothin), and a good Sun AM hunt.

Re: NY Round Up, weather report

Washed my hunting clothes today in the fall blend soap

Got my stuff from Primos - Some goodies I'll bring along and share!

Looks like the closing is finally gonna be Tuesday or Wednesday morning - that's cutting it close!!! My Wife is cool though, she said as long as we have all of our stuff moved, I can still come!

Re: NY Round Up, weather report

Dan,

You got my number so give me a call like you said. I will send out an email shortly but I know you won't have access so give me a call. The directions are good for the most part but I dont like the ending. Ha Ha. I will explain better. Now remember this is Gods country so it never rains, especially on a NY RT get together. I can't wait. It is going to be a blast.

Re: NY Round Up, weather report

WOW I am glad the outhouse is a two seater, but sorry I don't share my special time with anyone. Somethings just have to be done alone. But with all this food we may need to put the outhouse to "overtime" use.

I will hopefully send out an email this morning as the times everyone will be arriving. Gary and Tim if you want to come up earlier that is fine too. I will be there by noon as well as Art I believe. If you get there early enough we may be able to squeak in a hunt Friday night. Let me know. And I will get my wife to make her famouse 3-layer desert. It is awesome.
