Turkeygirl
We had an exam on the Endocrine unti today....for those who do or don't know, Cushings, Addison's, hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism are very similiar and a pain to differentiate, lol. Endocrine is a toughy, but after the 69 on the last test, I pulled off a 78 on this one, so that helps a little bit. Of course I made 2 dumb mistakes that cost me the 2 points from an 80, but I think there's alot of people who did bad:( I think the next exam, in 3 weeks, after break, is on neuro and maybe cardio, fun fun. Right now have skills testing to worry about in 2 weeks but whatever. Oh and I did get a 95 out of 100 on my Freshman Observation write-up (we as seniors observe 2 freshman, oversee them kind of, and then evaluate them). Thanks for the support friends. By the way I had my nursing photo done this past Friday...when I get a copy, I'll photograph it,lol, and post it...though I'm sure some will have fun photoshopping it:D

fly
Glad to hear of the improvement. Keep it up! What's your grading scale like? Ours used to be 60-70=D, 71-80=C, 81-90=B, 91-100=A. (D's are considered failing grades in our nursing program) It was changed 2 years ago to: 76-84=C, 85-92=B, 93-100=A. I have a lot more C's now (I primarily teach nursing pharmacology and advanced medical/surgical nursing), but other courses have remained about the same. I attribute some of that to grade inflation. Tominator
I could have quizzed you on the thyroid and parathyroid. I don't have either one anymore, only 1/4 of 1 parathyroid now.
