hammerforged
Many on here know I had surgery Monday a week ago, most don't know the nature of the surgery. Last October I had my annual physical and my urine protein was abnormally high. I worked for RR Donnelley (commercial printing company) for 24 years and we have a cluster of 11 people who worked at the plant here that have contracted Multiple Myeloma as a result of daily prolonged exposure to high levels of Toluene. High urine protein is an indicator. Monday a week ago they did a bone core on my right hip to check for "Swiss cheese" in the bone. Bone came back clear, so they are scheduling more tests to rule out Multiple Myeloma. The only symptoms I have are weight loss (20 lbs so far) and the high urine protein so far. Thanks for all your prayers, so far so good.

Hoosierbuck
Hey Ross! Good news, buddy. Ironically...on your behalf I asked my Doctor (AKA GREAT PHYSICIAN) for a diagnosis of something definitive that could be cured, not just treated, and that it not be multiple myeloma...so far my request is looking good. I think I will ask again, He doesn't mind. HB
