Guest a-Ron
Had a day off today so I decided to take a walk through a little winter refuge for our local whitetails and look for antlers. I glassed the hillside before heading up and saw a little bull elk struggling through the snow up near the ridge crest but not much else. Guess it was a little to sunny. Found plenty of tracks and an old rub from the fall rut but no antlers. There's a ton of elk scat so hopefully i'll stumble upon an antler or two of theirs. My little pup who i'm teaching to find antlers also had a pretty good time. Shaun_300
Great pics man, and welcome to the forums! I'll have to make it out that way sometime. I've been as far west as eastern Saskatchewan, but I've always wanted to see the Canadian rockies.
