nativetexan
This morning after taking my kids to school, I stopped and got some coffee and headed over to the lake around the corner from my house. My intention's were to sit quietly and enjoy watching the geese and ducks, instead all I could focus on was the amount of litter strewn up and down the banks and in the water. The pictures below do not show everything, but you get the idea. This makes me hysterically mad... This is the place where I take my son's fishing..How disrespectful people are... ruttinbuc
The depth of winter certainly brings the problem to the top. It is a problem most everywhere you look these days. A real shame it is allowed to happen.
muggs
All it takes is a few people to ruin something nice like that. It's really a shame.
Randy
It's a shame folks refuse to pick up their trash. There are people like that all over the world Afraid so. Fortunately where I'm from, it's not quite that bad.
c_lou
That is so sad. The small lake in our town isn't quite that bad, but some people are just slobs. When we go to the park in the summer time, I will usually pick up the trash along the edges that I see.
Adjam5
Sad sight for sure. Outdoors people feel that insult more than anyone:(. Remember the commercial ways back with the Indian crying? Some have never got that message:mad:

Rhino
You obviously have a serious problem with some slobs sharing the lake. Sad to see. Fortunately it's not that bad where I go.
redkneck
I've made a ton of mistakes in life but to throw trash on such beauty that god gave us is one thing i couldnt understand from an early age. I was setting some hooks out a few years back one spring on a little creek by the house between a RR trestle and a Hwy bridge about a quarter mile apart. I was on the trestle taking in the tranquility, when this lady stopped on the bridge. I thought maybe she was having problems. A few seconds later, plop...plop... over went two bags of garbage in the freakin creek! I was beside myself. I think i would have choked her if i could have. Here we were so close, but on totally opposite ends of the world, one of us enjoying the beauty, one destroying it. Really pi**es me off guys.

RangerClay
Is that a lake or a landfill? I feel sorry for you, its a shame your locals treat the lake that way.
