RangerClay
I ordered three rolls of border material from Cabelas. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=MainCatcat20656-cat601062&id=0035796617492a&navCount=1&podId=0035796617492&parentId=cat601062&masterpathid=&navAction=push&catalogCode=IK&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat601233&hasJS=true I have never done one of these things before and I was hoping for some directions in the roll. Not to be. If you have ever put one of these borders up I would appreciate any advise you may have. Thanks!
VermontHunter
You should only need a tray of warm water to soak the paper in Joe ... Once applied to the wall you will need to squeegee the excess water from behind the paper and then just let it room dry ..
stevebeilgard
i have, joe. you need a big sponge and a small wall paper roller. all you are doing is wall papering. it's pre glued. so, put the pre cut amount of paper you need for the length of wall you're doing print side up, and run the roll through a small dish of warm water. let it sit for 15-20 seconds once out of the water (just a quick dip in the water) and put it on the wall where you want it. next, dry sponge off the excess water & glue. then, roll it with the little (1" to 4" plastic or wood) roller to make sure all the bubles are out from under the paper. of course, i'm assuming a clean wall to start with. you now have about 5 minutes to make sure your work is straight and where you want it. now, grab a beer an admire your work... Rhino
Can't say that I have done it myself but we (so to speak that is ) put one on one of the dinning room walls in our camp. Only thing is my buddies waited until I left for Kansas to bowhunt for a week. That way one of my friends that masterminded the project wouldn't have me helping them and trying to tell him how he should do it while he was doing it. All I can tell you is they said it was a lot harder than they thought it would be. Wish I could help but for what it's worth here's a picture of the finished job.
