Help me pick a print

I was talking with the Mrs. about the man cave project and she asked why I was not hanging up most of my prints and pictures. I explained to her that with this new room I want some new stuff to look at, plus I want room for the kids future outdoor adventures. But for right now I would like to put a nice print over the couch and maybe you can help me pick one. If you have a favorite print please give the artist and name or post a pic from the net like such,

For now I'm off to hang borders. Thanks everyone for the great advice.

Just got done putting up the border and it looks great. I will be sure to post pics when I'm done.

I was thinking. What is the name of the print where the arrow is coming out of the deer?

Great job guys, keep'em coming.

Found it...

Kill Zone I

Artist=Desmond McCaffrey

I also like this one by him:

Possibly his best work ever:

Cool:cool:...it only took me like 1-1/2hrs of searching to find it:o I literally looked through 30 pages of "Whitetail Prints" on google..Nada. Finally found a listing for "Whitetail Artists" then looked through the list checking artists names that sounded familiar;)

I really like the shadow box for the arrow. I might plead with Ken to fire up his woodworking tools and make me a separate shadow box for the first arrow I recovered from one of my Bow kills. I've got a pic of my first bowkill I want to hang that underneath of for my "Man Cave".

Just realized Ken had posted to this thread...Should I start begging now??? LOL

Gary, my woodworking tools are covered with the wrong kind of dust lately my friend. The saw dust has given way to the dust... dust. :( With a soon to be 7 year old baby girl, and my soon to be 9 year old son, seems lifes has got me running every which way but into the shop. I'm still a woodworker at heart, and my daughter has an interest, just time is not there. I would love to make you a shadow box GW, but just not sure when I would get it in. :( You've mentioned it before, but if I remember right, Joe is a woodworker also! If it is something you need soon, maybe he has a bit more free time.

Man, those are great. Personally I dont so much like the buck and doe prints where they are side by side, too much of a "Bambi" look to me with mom and dad side by side. If you are interested in photography, let me suggest Stephen Kirkpatrick. He is Amazing! Plus he's from Mississippi, so you know he's a great guy . you can see his work here

Even if you dont want a photo, you guys should have a look at his work, it's very good.

I completely understand..No problem Ken...The pic and the arrow are not going anywhere soon.

Sorry Joe for the thread highjack...I geuss I got a little excited looking at all those beautiful deer prints by those great artists:o;)

No problem Gary ;)

Ken, Do not feel bad my friend, you are not alone. I know exactly how you feel. I used to spend most of my free time making gifts for my friends and family. I used to make some wonderful pieces when I was an apprentice cabinetmaker. But lately the .....desire....just has not been there for the very same reasons you mentioned. I have a 7 year old daughter and 4 year old son who want all of Daddys free time. I had a co-worked pay me to make a bluebird box recently and it took me 3 weeks to get the materials and get it done. I look forward to summer when I have more free time for woodworking. I did manage to find time to do all of the moulding for my man cave project and it felt good.
