cflhunter
Is there a particular broadhead that you use when turkey hunting? This will be my first year huntin' toms with a bow. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Covehnter
First things first, let's remember that shot placement is more crucial now than ever before, turkeys have small vitals. With that said our #1 priority is to not wound a bird that will become food for the yotes. I would suggest a head that has a large cutting diameter and a stopper to prevent pass throughs, you want the arrow in the bird to make it difficult for him to take air. I shoot Rocket Hammerheads with the stopper added behind the head. Its been deadly for the last few years.

Adjam5
If you can keep them in the bulls eye at 40 and less, check out these heads. Clean miss or a kill. http://www.magnusbroadheads.com/bullhead.html

pointing_dogs_rule
I use the MUZZY 90 grain, 4 blade broadhead. Have taken many birds with these broadheads. Maximum damage is the most important part of bowhunting these birds. With that stated it all comes down to shot placement 1. the head or neck 2. the top of the wing (so that it breaks the wing and hits vitals) 3. If facing away from you.... up the butthole 4. If facing you.... the top of the beard The larger diameter breadheads (fixed or expandable) offer a greater coverage area and a little more room for shot error. Remember that every broadhead flys different and you may have to find one that flys best with your bow. The MUZZY's are the same that I use for deer, antelope so I am comfortable with the flight. Expandables... I started out trying these and missed my first few birds. I sometimes shoot through a mesh screen and blamed the expandables exiting the screen. I do not know if this is true, but I do not shoot expandables through a screen anymore. Good luck and enjoy the season the dog
woodsman1977
I don't get fancy with those Magnus style broadheads. Use a quality 85-125 grain broadhead and shoot them at the base of the wing.
