nativetexan
A friend of mine has talked my wife and I into doing the MS150 City to Shore in October. My uncle suffers from MS, as well as one of my wife's good friend's. Figure since my orders to Spain got cancelled, that I will spend my summer fishing and training for this 150 mile bike ride, which is a great cause. Anyone else into cycling? Of any kind? Doe-ee
150 miles! Wow. Cycling is not my forte but I do applaud you and your wife for joining in to support such a great cause.

Hehe.. good luck with that, but i'll stick with my yamaha. Last time i went 20 miles on a bicycle it took a week to get over. Have fun!!! Straight Shooter
I've got a Road/Mountain Specialized Hardtail bike I love to ride only on the road (I don't do off road), and waiting on the weather to get warmer to start riding again. My longest ride has been 37 miles so far but looking to top that this summer with a 50 miler. Good luck to you and be safe!
HUNTINGMAN
I done a lot of mountain bike rideing up until about 6 years ago when I give it up.I have been to west virginia, north carolina and used to go to tennesse about every other week to ride when we werent rideing in KY.We always road offroad trails and I think the longest we road without comeing back to the vehicles for a breather was 30 miles when we got lost at laurel lake in KY one day.I had a Kona full suspension mountain bike that cost about 2000$ and then a Trek Y frame that was made out of carbon fiber and cost quite a bit more than the other and had all top of the line hardware on it.I plan on getting another bike this summer but am thinking about a road bike, all the guys I used to ride with have moved or have families and jobs and dont have time to do the off road thing anymore.Good luck on your ride. Rem308
Mountain biking is a hobby that I get obsessed with from time to time. In the last 3 years I've really gotten into it, just something about the mountains and technical riding. I'm blessed to live in the mountains and the trails are some of WV's best kept secrets. Here's a few pics of some rides: Edited February 23, 2009 by Rem308
