TuffnufOutdoors
If you only had one call you could take to the turkey woods which would it be? Mine would be my Kentucky Klucker slate call.
Rhino
It would definately be one of my slate calls. Which one would depend on my mood that day and which subspecies I was chasing. Hard to beat the versatility of the turkey talk you can reproduce with a slate call.
Covehnter
No doubt my diaphram- maybe Hooks, maybe Woodhaven, maybe the one I just picked up in Nashville. Think its a Tom Teaser or Perfection.

2labs
If only one call, diaphram or my Lynch box call! I would probably choose the diaphram.
pendog
My Mouth call is my weapon of choice most often so i would pick that.
Jorden
Mouth call for sure
MossySNPR
Diaphram all the way, once its mastered, the possibilities are endless.
PA_Spike_King
Yep, mouth call for sure, Quaker Boy or Penns Woods is all I need.
Washi
Slate call. I can do anything with it. No matter how much I practice with a mouth call the only realistic sound I can make is a yelp.
SwampDawg
Hooks Executioner Diaphragm
longbeardfever4ever
TOUGH choice! A+J glass call, A+J slate call, H.S. strut easy rasp mouth call, and a quaker boy screamin green world champ mouth call are my 4 main calls. bluelund79
Diaphram....Really like the Brad Farris model from Primos out of the few I use...
dbHunterNY
It would definitely have to be a diaphram mouth call and right now the best one for me is a Will Primos Signature Series diaphram. I can do everything but a strong gobble. Even so the weak gobble just sounds like one from a jake. I like the other calls, but if the weather is bad (wet) then the diaphram will still work. - Dan
Bowtech_archer07
My 360 slate call would be it. I've called in 8 longbeards to within 60 yards with it, killed 2 and it is the call I sound the best on.

Strut10
I love to build & run slates. I'm a boxcall freak. If only one.........a diaphragm, without question.
snapper
I'm with most here...although I love running a slate or slapping the lid of a box...if I were only able to have 1 call, it would be a diaphram. I prefer a Cody diaphram.
Casey
Even though I am not good at it, I would go with a mouth call as well, I am getting better and I like the Red Wasp from WoodHaven
elnor
Woodhaven Matt Van Cise diaphragm. If two, I'd add an Old Boss Hen diaphragm. But why setttle for one or two...that's why God gave us turkey vests!
TuffnufOutdoors
Oh elnor I agree, I never said I just carry one just a what if. Sort a like what I would do if I won a million dollars. That's easy buy more turkey calls and go on more turkey hunts lol.
