ruttinbuc
That looks like a real shooter there, Luke. Most Thompson Center rifles are. You are going to like that Nikon BDC. I have one on my Omega. I use a 250gr. Hornady SST with 100grains of pyrodex. Its a tack driver.

Chrud
Congrats Luke! Welcome to the T/C Family! I'd suggest picking up some of the T/C products from their online store. It might cost a couple dollars more than the usual stuff you'd get, but it is worth it. Watch the "World of Muzzleloading" DVD that came with it and write down some of the stuff they suggest. I follow T/C recommended cleaning between shots method and my barrell looks as clean as the day I bought the gun. Triple Seven and Shockwaves are a good choice. My Pro Hunter really likes 150 G's of Triple Seven and a 250 G Shockwave (not the Super Glide though). Good luck guy!

Guest TennesseeTurkey
LUKE! I found this gun at a dealer the other day in camo/stainless for $399 plus tax! I'm wondering if I need to buy it or one like yours and then buy a 7mm Mag separately instead of buying the Pro Hunter and spending $300 for a 7mm Mag barrell......... elnor
Fantastic muzzleloader, congrats! After I had some troubles with an old sidelock last fall, my wife insisted I get a Triumph before our ML season opened. I filled four tags with it inside of one week...the buck below plus three management tags. No complaints here, my Triumph is now my favorite freezer filler!
