redkneck
Used to on Dish network, there were a lot more hunting shows. Some good some not so good. What happened to them now? Are they still on? I'm thinking of: double bull closing the distance I cant remember all of them, some were pretty cheesey. sportsmans outdoor strategies

redkneck
Some no doubt were cancelled, cuz they sucked, but i was wondering if DirectTV or somebody was carrying the better ones, like double bull, or closing the distance. I don't think Closing the Distance with Lee and Tiffany is on anymore. They have a new one called "The Crush"
Jorden
"The Crush" is just replays of their old Gettin Close shows. As far as Double Bull, your right I havent seen that one in a long time

As far as Double Bull, your right I havent seen that one in a long time The Crush is their new show which used some of the Gettin Close footage in the beginning of the series. The other two shows mentioned appear to be gone from the airwaves...

redkneck
lots of crappy hunting shows out there, we all know that. Closing the distance was great, i hope they dont screw with it. You guys ever watch that one on the outdoor channel with the foriegn guy narrating it? I think it's called global persuits or something. I was watching this guy ride around spain in a car with his guide until they saw some rams. then they get out of the car and walk about 50 yards, sneak up behind a tree and shoot the thing. Next he talks about what a good stalk he put on it. OMG, please folks, give bubba a camcorder and he can get you a better show than that! MUDRUNNER
I have Direct T.V., and between Versus, The Sportsmans Channel, and The Outdoor Channel, I think they have about every current show on at some point throughout the year.
