Stickslinger
I have an 835 UltraMag, Mossyoak breakup camo, ported barrel, fiber-optic sights, 2 years old, no visible marks. In your opinion, what would be a fair asking price for this gun? Rodney
PotashRLS
$350 +/- You can still get them new for $399 and the thumbholes are $450.
Adjam5
Hmmm... I paid about 2 years ago, $150 at Gander Mtn for a slightly used 835 ultimag in all black with a 28" ported bbl that had bead sights. I have since changed them. The camo alone is worth an extra Franklin. The factory Mossberg sights are OK, but don't add much. I would say $300 would be a good #. Good gun... I have two 835's why get rid of it? Stickslinger
Thanks for the responses. Nothing wrong with the mossberg, I would like to buy a Rem 11-87 and the wife says I need to sell one before I buy one. I'm also thinking about 20gauge instead of 12gauge. Thanks again
slaw
I got the same gun new a few years ago for 299.
paulk_gary
Hey Rodney, I would say about 300.00 to 325.00 would be a good price for it.

michiganbowbender
Thanks for the responses. . I'm also thinking about 20gauge instead of 12gauge. Thanks again 20 can be more than adequate for turkeys, even at 40 yards or more. I recently made the switch after some good reading on another site. Scroll around on it and you will read some very good 20 gauge and choke/load reviews. http://oldgobbler.com/TheForum/
