redkneck
That's my biggest fear when riding my bike. I plowed a doe this year doing 50 in my Z71, i couldnt imagine the same thing happening on my motorcycle.
slughunter
Its always a big risk when riding a motorcycle. I have had a lot of close calls when riding my quad on the track because its surrounded on all sides by woods. Sure does get the heart pumping faster than comfortable. -shane
buckee
I WISH THEY'D LEARN HOW TO READ. They really do need to sit down with the deer and teach them our cross-walk laws. It would be much safer for all. These guys have almost got it right. Now these deer have been paying attention.:D Good to hear the guy survived. m gardner
I've been on a bike all my life and everything has the right of way! I ride year round too. In snow, rain, fog, smoke from forest fires, blowing sand, etc,. Right now I'm here in AZ and riding the freeways where you need to be ever aware or you will end up under some competitive S.O.B.'s vehicle. If you ride because it's relaxing or to look cool, or tough you'll eat pavement. If it's part of your lifestyle you'll survive. One thing I learned out here is that once migrating animals start across the road they won't stop until they all get across. You need to stop and let them finish. My Beamer has great brakes which is one reason I ride them. I don't believe in safety. It's a myth. Caution and preparedness will keep you alive. Always look for your way out. Good riding! Looks like those two bucks decided they were just going to buy the trail mix instead of foraging for it. :D:D Glad to hear the guy didn't lose his life, he's really lucky. Adjam5
The motorcycles in Texas should have them huge steel grills on them like every truck I saw in Texas had. Glad the guy didn't get hurt, and like Mark said; when you are on 2 wheels, everything has the right of way.

Guest TennesseeTurkey
antelope & deer get hit all the time in wyoming, usually with sad results. Does Wyoming have the unlimited speed laws on interstates like Montana?....I bet Montana interstates are crazy and if you hit a deer on a highway with no speed limit....well.......ouch!
