Big_man_huntin
I have been shed hunting 10 times this year and I have not even found one. I am getting very frustrated. I must be doing something wrong so if anyone has any pointers they will be excepted with open arms. THANKS!!
buckee
It's so thick here in the west coast rain forest, that there is only two ways to shed hunt. (1) - Follow every single deer trail you come across, and keep your eyes to the left, right and on the trail. Go slow, and really scan close up surrounding areas. (2) - Grid search an area, (bush, swamp or field) and then move on to the next area. Go slow, and really scan close up surrounding areas. HUNTINGMAN
I have been hunting since I was a little kid and spent countless hours in the woods,I have only found trhree sheds myself. One is a matched set of a ten pointer I seen out of the camper window earlier in the year and the other was a forkhorn I found in a plowed feild.I still look every chance I get even though I know I may not find much, there just arent that many big bucks around in the area I hunt and the terain is so rough and wooded that it is hard to fin them.
