Big_man_huntin
This is my first year of hunting with a bow. I just got permission to hunt private land that is a Milo field surrounded by trees. It looks like a good spot but like I said this is my first year and Im not sure what I am doing. What are your opinions? THANKS
Tominator
Not knowing the land or seeing how it lays, I'd say walk the perimeter and look for trails in and out. Food sources are good early and late in the season, and typically an evening spot. Watch the wind and make sure your scent doesn't blow back towards a bedding area. ruttinbuc
Are those trees on a flat above a draw or on all flat ground?
92xj
can you find the land on googleearth??? If so pull it up and take a look at the ridges and draws and thickets and other openings around. Find what looks to be funnels in the woods that might lead to the field you are in.
