right here guys. sorry for taking so long I actually had a pretty nasty car accident earlier this week and haven't been on the internet. I'm fine just a concussion and whip lash, but the car didn't survive. Totaled....oh well it's just metal...

My season starts in late april although I think I might be hunting them down in Oklahoma in mid April as well...

Glad to see you check in one!

My season starts up Saturday.. forecasting rain for the first 3 days, but that won't stop me. I've got the first 9 days off for spring break, then every Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday I will be back home to hunt my farms. The other days I'll be at school, but will be hunting public land here.

My season fires off in late april. I will be headed down to Oklahoma in Mid April to hunts hogs and hopefully we might sneak in some turkey hunting as well. For the most part I will be going after birds with a bow again this year. Last year I killed two in Kansas with a bow and hopefully that continues this year.....

Rhine-How'd it go?

It's sorta been slow here. Weather was rough both Saturday and Sunday. Had one gobblin this morning, just couldn't get on him. Maybe tomorrow will be better!

Also looks as if I'll have to wait my turn to shoot(at least this week). My 7 yr old brother is hunting with me and my uncle has the longest drought from killing a bird so I guess he's next in line. :o

No worries from me though. Staying optimistic ;)

Going to camp out at another farm tonight. Went there Sunday morning and heard 0, weather wasn't wonderful though.

Camped out in our shack last night. Woke up to a three birds gobbling, but never could close the deal. Will be back there before the weekend is over for sure. In the morning, may try out my third farm in the morning or go back to my main one and see if the birds have crossed the fence yet.
