doubleA
Yeah, you have to give credit to Mr Obama, that stimulis plan is really working. I picked up a Bushmaster M4 in 5.56 and a Remington 870 Wingmaster in .410 last week myself.

doubleA
an interesting 94 huh? been running a little 94 trapper with a 16 inch barrel in .45 colt through the paces lately, it' s a superb truck gun, though it thumps ya with heavy 300 grain loads. Good luck on them Strut10, give them a good home.

Hoosierbuck
My local shop has this old Savage 99 that might join my "family" soon. Hard to justify since I already have one, but still so cool... HB

JJL
I did some work for a friend a few years back, who was so grateful that he GAVE me one of these as a bonus as well as payment. Never been shot, still in box with all of the paper..... NRA commemorative 30-30 from 1971............sweeeeeeet. It's nice to have non-shooting friends sometimes...... Strut10
Nothing wrong with safe queens. This new 94 coming will make my 7th. Four of the six I currently own have never been shot. The other two have been shot.........but not by me. They're all 95-99% guns. This new one will be my "shooter". Truthfully........I never shot a centerfire 94...............ever. Dakota
Truthfully........I never shot a centerfire 94...............ever. I never fired mine in .30-30 till this past summer and I've received/bought a Savage Stevens 200 .270 and Win. 70 .30-06 in that order between buying and shooting that gun for the first time. Depending on how things go, if I draw a SD cow elk tag this year I'm planning on using the .30-30 open irons with Hornady Leverevolution bullets. They are definitely good guns! WaCoyote
I've bought a Kimber CDPII, a Bushmaster Varminter, and a custom 6.5 Swede in the last 2-3 months. Who knows what I'll find at the gun show in a couple weeks. Maybe a new .44?
