It will take a few passes with the disc to get the ground fitted anyway. Disc......disc again.......lime and fertilize......lightly disc.........firm the seed bed.......plant. Thanks for any help If this is new ground not previously worked up I guess I would ask: have you sprayed for weed kill? How long ago? This would be a very important step to leave out. If you have sprayed, you could start discing about 1 1/2 weeks later if the weeds etc. look like they are dieing off.
