Texan_Til_I_Die
Caught these on a trip to Choke Canyon Lake last week. 6.5 pounder already spawned out: 7.5 pounder in the middle of spawning 5.5 pounder with alligator bites Biggest tilapia I've ever seen - 3 lbs

Dawg
That's some great looking bass and a big Tilapia. What did you catch em all on?
Texan_Til_I_Die
Most of my bass I caught on a spinnerbait or a rattletrap. Caught the talapia on a rattletrap, too. My best day was Friday. I had about 40 keepers and my 5 best would have weighed about 22 lbs. Also caught this nice channel cat on a rattletrap... Shaun_300
Nice pics Texan! Looks a little windy out there. Sure wish I could get out on a boat in March...
Texan_Til_I_Die
Wow, spawned out already! What are the water temps? Nice day though for sure! Water temps ranged from 59 in the main lake to 64 in the backs of the creeks. The main spawn was just beginning. I'd say 90% of the bass haven't spawned yet. I'm going back next week for a tournament. Hope we catch it just right.

Yeah, a front blew through Saturday afternoon about 1:00. We had 30 mph winds out of the north. I was fishing on the north side of the lake and had to cross about 5 miles of open water with 4 - 5 foot whitecaps. It got pretty western out there, but the trusty Ranger carried me right on through.
