Yeah, Largemouths....does it go blue/black or chartreuse or clear and a black and brown for muddy? I forgot my colors LOL I never really learned what was good for what until last year and Ive already forgot :rolleyes:

I've always heard that the darker the water is, the darker your lure needs to be, and the lighter the water the lighter the lure.

I never really have stuck with that technique though. I fish about 8 different colors throughout the spring, summer and fall. That being said, I usually stick with just 3 different ones about 95% of the time no matter what soft plastic lure or jig I am fishing. Those 3 colors are green pumpkin, watermelon candy and watermelon red.

These 3 seem to always get me bit no matter what the water color is.
