NY_Bowhunter14 Posted March 3, 2009 Report Share Posted March 3, 2009 i used to shoot a WB, but wasn't very happy with it, it seemed to mess with my arrow flight, but that have just been because i had a low poundage on my bow, i switched to a Trophy Taker Drop Away and i absolutely love it, i won't be switching rests any time soon i can tell you that... Last year i shot 3 times and killed 3 deer, so until i just have an extra 60 bucks burning a hole in my pocket i'll stick with them. Well i did shoot twice to kill one rabbit..... Tom2008 Posted March 4, 2009 Report Share Posted March 4, 2009 Whisker Biscuit is in my opinion the best full containment rest out there. You can shoot accuratley with that out to any yardage. If I were to suggest a new drop away it would be the QAD ultra rest everyone is talking about for the simple fact that you can let the bow down without the arrow falling out of the rest. Fletch eating rest is what I call them. I have used a fall away since that horrible whisker biscuit experience and love them. Currently using a TT shakey hunter. Never been happier. oldreloader Posted March 6, 2009 Report Share Posted March 6, 2009 I was using a Whisker Biscuit and decided to try a drop away.I bought a Dropzone and liked it BUT I went back to the WB. For hunting it's what I want on my bow. If it's tuned and the fletching gets a drop of glue front and back I don't have any problems with the fletching. I have a Ripcord and A muzzy zero effect. I would like to try a G% expert also. But there area bunch of good drop away rests out there, it all boils down to personal preferences IMO.
