SaskBucks
Re: What do U take Shed Hunting? LDB has a great idea to take some duct tape just in case you're carrying a few...I got a fanny pack from Mountain Equipment Co-op from him as a Christmas gift as well, it is the cat's meow, room for a couple water bottles on the side, here is the link to it http://www.mec.ca/Products/product_detai...D=1107535478726 I love the boots I hike in, they are Salomon X ADVANTAGE 7 hikers...here is a link for them, or I guess the closest thing they make now http://www.usoutdoorstore.com/istar.asp?...ufacturer%3D208 I also wear a pair of gortex gaiters so I don't get snow down my boots and they are also good for rubbing up against branches in the bush Does anyone use those upland pants with the fronts made of heavy material? Turkeygirl
Re: What do U take Shed Hunting? Well I usually give my mom the where abouts of where I'm going but I know about every inch of the land so I have no problem. If iti s small game season like it is now, I take my shotgun but usually I'll take my knife, first aid kit, a backpack with some water and a snack in it, a camera, a hiking stick(or a ski pole works great, lol) and sometimes one of our dogs for company.
