Heavy Metal
Well, that had to be the weakest climax to an NHL trade deadline I've ever seen. When Recchi and Guerin are the prime time aquisitions, you know it was slim pickens. Why in the world would the Bruins bother with Recchi. The team is perfect...I don't see it. He's never been a great leader and he's like a sand bag out there. I was hoping the Sharks would look for a spark on defense....they got two nobodies from the Ducks. Muff
Think The Flames did ok....maybe they can try to catch the Sharks and Wings now.

I think that is the one team that strengthened themselves for the playoffs. Good call! Sharks are looking extremely vulnerable the last 4 weeks. And they did nothing....that bothers me. punkinslinger
The Pens one bright spot came with the trade with Whitney and Kunitz. Kunitz has been a point scoring machine already!!! Guerin????????????
buckbuster11
The Pens and Flames made out pretty good. The Pens actually have some people to play with Sid now. When you have a situation where nobody is sure what the salary cap will be the following year, you aren't going to see many big deals.
