Covehnter
On our way to the swamps again, got about 3.5 hours behind us so far. Reports say tomorrow is going to be windy and the traffic has hit the public land early this year. Should arrive in time to get a bearin' on one if they are talking. I'll try to keep you boys updated on the happenings with the blackberry. Later for now.

Covehnter
Good luck... hunting them swamp birds is a blast. Wish my buddy still had his lease. Sure do wish we had access to a lease too, dry year has people easily reaching spots that are not normally easy to reach. Gonna be a crowded year it sounds, but 3 hours to go. Still on the move. xiwang315
Sling shot with ammo in the handle Sling shot with ammo in the handle Has anyone bought this type of sling shot before that holds the amo in the handle? http://www.liangdianup.com/sporting_1.htm this company has free shipping to anywhere in the world and they guarantee delivery to Australia. I heard that sling shots are ok to sell in Australia as long as you say they are being used to toss bait in the water when you go fishing, any truth to thatone? Still on the move. good luck to you, what area are you heading for ? ,we hunt on a private lease in Ocala My buddy got out of his lease when he moved back to Ohio... could have bought into it but couldn't see going down there every year to hunt. It was between Gainesville and Ocala. I also hunted a private lease the butted up to Orange Lake. That one I believe was bought by the state and turned into a nature preserve a couple years ago. It was loaded with birds.

Covehnter
Update: The reports were spot on this year, the place is a zoo! Some big let downs so far and no dead turkeys. But we are in the woods huntin so I guess it can't be so bad. We've relocated for the next two days, we'll stay hard at it and update when able. Guest TennesseeTurkey
Good luck buddy! I hope to go down to Florida one day and take my slam....I only need a Rio, Merriams, and a Osceola :D:D
Covehnter
He shoots,He scores. We have an Osceola that'll be returning to Georgia! The silent treatment was too much for a mouthy 2 year old to take, swallowed a couple oz of #6s a few minutes til 9 this morning. Now it's Poncho's turn.
