I just spoke to Tim Andrus. He is on the way down from his home base and headed for the Outdoor Expo in Suffern ,NY which is very close to NYC. Approx 20 miles away. He made a few coffee and PP stops along the way.

I will be in touch with Tim on his Road trip, and posting updates at his command.

Maybe even give a review of his seminars:D.

Tim made it to the hotel safely and is now checking in at the show for his credentials. He is appreciating the warm weather we are having down here. The sign of spring on the way.

This show is one of the largest in the metro NYC area and draws folk from all over.

Tim is doing a few seminars there with a few other BIG names in the outdoor world. One of his scheduled seminars is a look at behind the scenes;

" What really goes on when filming a Realtree TV show"

That oughtta be a good one;):).

Well up and at them this morning , just had breakfast here at the hotel..... Talked with the owner of Raven Wear Susan Hinbo was good to see a familar face. .... Gotta stop by here booth and see whats new . ....... For those who arent familar with Raven Wear , they are based out of Alberta and make great cold weather garments ...... Very popular with guys who hunt northern Canada in cold conditions. Well back up to the room and relax and then go get a work out in and then be at the show around noon or so.

I picked up Tim this evening after his seminars and brought him over to our home for a Axis, whitetail backstrap and snow crab legs dinner. The side dishes were mac n cheese, asparagus and bisquits and a few sodas;). That Axis meat is one of a kind and a world of difference compared to whitetail.

He got to meet our crew here and fit right in. Hey after all...he is a fellow New Yawker:D. It was a great mellow evening as we sat out on the deck a while the coals were warming up, having sodas, and were greeted by 4 or 5 deer that came to visit. They usually spook when they see me, but for some reason they hung around. I guess they too wanted to meet Mr. Andrus:D.

I took a few pics and would post them, but somehow the pics loaded to the internal memory on the dig cam instead of the memory card:confused: and I cannot find the cable to upload them out of the camera:(.

I will turn this house upside down to find that cable!

I took Tim back to his room early, before he turned back into a pumpkin:p, so he could be fresh for his seminars today.

We had a great time and thank you Tim for coming over!

It was a blast. This forum is amazing when it comes to the amount of good/solid people on here. I am proud to be part of it.

I should be hitting the show today to catch Tims seminar and I will be taking pics and vids while it is going on.

I will have a FULL report on the show this evening:).

Now I have to go look for that cable:o

Tim is on his way back home after a full weekend of talking it up at the shows. A lot of people at the show tugging at him for time and conversation. Sheesh, I had no idea he was so popular:D! Visitors and vendors alike, all wanted a piece of Tim.

I had a really great time hanging with Tim and look forward to doing it again.

Here are a few pics of the show and our time with Tim.

He is a real ambassador of Realtree and the outdoors;).

1st class all the way.

(BTW Tim... when do I get my check for saying that:p)

No joke folks...Tim is the real deal.
