Wow, believed that one just crossed the line I'll stick to my $3.99 HS Strut wind checker.... or better yet, crumbled leaves I think you guys have missed the point. If you can forget the wind and just hunt, why do you need a wind checker. :D
GWSmith
I think you guys have missed the point. If you can forget the wind and just hunt, why do you need a wind checker. :D ..And if you dont forget to check the wind you can just hunt without one;) I still hunt 360...but after eating TacoBell...anything is Dead Down Wind:eek::D:D
wtnhunt
Kind of ironic huh. lol. Why need a wind checker if you can forget the wind and just hunt. Have some scent lok stuff Joe including boots, and I really do not believe it makes any difference, at least it has not for me. Good scent control practices will get you close without any carbon clothes, fortunately pretty well all the scent lok stuff I bought over the years was picked up on cabelas clearance sales so I have not spent too terribly much more than what I would have on good quality huntign clothes. Watching some of the shows with the guys in scent lok from head to toe getting busted kind of reinforces what I have had for experiences. dbHunterNY
Since this past season I've been an official sucker/billboard for Robinson Labs; I now wear Scentblocker camo from head to toe. I've still gotten busted while stalking deer, because the wind swirled. I do think it has helped things out a lot though. I've had deer under 10 yards not smell me enough to care. - Dan
